Hello to all my fellow beauty lovers!! How the heck is everyone? This is my very first blog post on my own site… I am so excited for this new journey 😊 I’m going to sit down with you and spill the tea, about making the switch from my previous company to Farmasi and how it has changed my make-up and skin care game. Since most of you don’t know much about me, I will start by saying that I have been into make-up since I was very little. I had aunties who were hairdressers when I was growing up, so I always had my hair and make-up done and they would take pics of me all the time… I was their little model (LOL embarrassed a little to say that but hey I enjoyed it 😊). By the time I was 11 I started to play around with make-up and my lord I was not good at it… I was always made fun of by my family because I had big blue eye shadow looks like Mimi had on the Drew Carry show lol... If you have no idea who that is then u are a little younger than I am haha. Either way she looked awful with her bold blue shadow look and so did I. As I look back to those days and thank the good Lord that I got better over the many years of playing around with make-up. And then I turned 16…. And I decided I wanted to go to hair school and all that so I can be just like my aunties because what they did seemed like so much fun. So, when I graduated high school I took a year off then when to hair school and boy oh boy I hated it so much, and I learned that being around so many catty women was not my thing (Hair school is not for the faint of heart it takes guts, and a whole lot of heart to not let most of those girls crush you) I ended up making it through but then I decided to put off my make-up career because I could not handle another 10 months of what I had just endured. I started working in some salons and had no luck, so id quit and look for another hair job that didn’t suck… Do you know how hard that is? Its been the worst struggle I have had. I am now 32 years old an going back into doing hair for my 5th time since hair school, but something is different…. What you ask? Well I went back to school last year to take my medical admin assistant and it made me see that doing hair and make-up is the area I belong in. I loved taking my medical admin and I had a blast learning all that amazing stuff, but I love helping people in a different way than being behind a desk. This course also made me she how incredibly smart and hard working that I really am.. (which helped me boost my confidence to try back with where my passion lays). I was put on this earth to make women feel beautiful and empowered no matter the struggle they have endured over their lifetime. I have not had the easiest life and me looking back on all of that has got me to where I am today which is happy with my job as a stylist, and me being happy with that had led me to going back to school to take my make-up course because I’m not scared to anymore.
So now let’s talk about the move from my previous company to this new company… I am not one to bash my old company because I was with that company for a good 4ish years and it helped me understand that not all woman are catty and some ladies do want to see you succeed in life. But I had got to the point that their products were to expensive and I was in school not able to afford what I needed… and before school I was spending more money on products than I even made with the company which showed me that it was not worth it anymore, plus I was loosing all my down-line cause they could not sell or buy anymore as well due to the prices… sounds like a bad reason I know but something better will always come around when you least expect it to. I am not one to give up to easy, but this was one thing I had to choose to stay or to go and well leaving was the right answer. So I spent much of last year looking into other companies that I feel I could make an extra income on, and well I found nothing that appealed to me until a fellow friend from the old company I worked with started to post about this new company that had come to the states…. Was I intrigued? hell ya I was! So, I ended up getting the down low on it from Jade and Christina because they had already asked about this new company from our friend in the states. Once I found out all the details about Farmasi and got to test out some of the products I have been hooked. This product is not only affordable but its game changing… my skin has never looked so good, my cover-up and stuff and never looked less cakey and or flaky and their company has way more to offer clients and beauty influencers! The best part it has not been hard to color match Farmasi to my old Y stuff I was using since I was lucky enough to come across this site called www.Findation.com. This site will let you match with what make-up you are using to any other make-up line you want to try its been a life saver in my opinion. And if some of you ladies are worried cause you have crazy awful combination skin don’t worry that’s the skin type I am plus I’s sensitive to so much and I have not ended up with any allergies or my make-up looking greasy on my face. I have used so much farmasi now that I can fully say I think others need to give it a shot because it might just be that brand, they have been searching for … You can’t beat the affordable and well-made products of this company. I hope your as excited for this to come to Canada as i am.
